 GOOD FRIDAY-NO SCHOOL

Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday this week rather than Thursday.

When we return from break, we will study Xx and Yy the week of April 9-13. After we complete the alphabet we will learn about animals that we will see at the Zoo. I’m hope to schedule that field trip for late April or early May. Parents attending should have Child Protect training. Chaperones are asked not to bring younger siblings so full attention may be given to children in the class.

Insurance Declaration pages have to be up to date in the office in order to drive.

I hope you all have a Blessed Easter and wonderful Easter Break!

We are studying Eric Carle. We will be reading many of the books that he wrote or illustrated. The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Quiet Cricket, The Very Busy Spider, and The Very Lonely Firefly to name a FEW.

WE KNOW ALL OF OUR COLOR WORDS IN CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!

We drew purple violets on the letter Vv.

We decorated paper visors to wear for field day.

The children love 24 piece board puzzles. I have labeled the boards with numbers or letters and the individual pieces are labeled so they can match the pieces to the board using letters or numbers.

Other items I was able to buy with the Monte Carlo money were ball and Velcro sets, horseshoe sets, and a giant bowling game to play with outside on the blacktop on muddy days. I also bought another collection of 24 piece board puzzles.
